The Smith Family has a long history and deep roots  in the production of quality cattle.  Five generations of Smiths have lived and ranched continuously on land that was homesteaded in 1884.   The Kent Smith family currently run a Registered Angus herd near Bassett, Nebraska located in the heart of the Sandhills. Ranching and raising Angus cattle are how the Smiths make their living.  It's what pays the bills.  They love it, they live it, and they put a lot of hard work into it!
